Time with the NE gems
The bird life of north-east India is said to be second only to that of South America. Apart from having a very large list due to the fact that it sits on the edge of the Palearctic and Indo-malayan regions it also hosts a large number of species that are either rare, endemics or restricted range species of global conservation importance. Some of them like the Beautiful Nuthatch, Rufous-backed Sibia and Snowy-throated Babbler which you have a good chance of sighting on the trip.
Then there are the 5 species of Hornbill (Great, Rufous-necked, Wreathed, Brown and Oriental Pied) and a whole cluster of Babblers, Parrot-bills and Laughingthrushes. Not to mention possible sightings of rare waterfowl.
This is a great opportunity to explore see all the wonderful birds of the North-East
