Day 1: Arrival Antananarivo.
One of our team will meet you at the airport with a sign containing your name, after all formalities,
money changes then transfer to the hotel in Tanà.

Day 2: Tana to Morondava by flight, Kirindy forest nocturnal.
After Breakfast, briefing about your tour, then transfer to the airport for the flight to Morondava,
upon arrival you will meet our guide and driver who will accompany you to Kirindy forest. On the way
you will pass the Baobab Avenue on daytime. Upon arrival at Kirindy, you are invited to make a
nocturne walk to explore this special reserve.

Day 3: Kirindy to Tsingy de Bemaraha
After breakfast, visit of this reserve then drive to Bekopaka by crossing the two big rivers by ferries

Day 4: visit of Tsingy de Bemaraha
Full day of excursion in the “Grand Tsingy”
After breakfast, visit the big Tsingy 17 km from the village. This enormous UNESCO World Heritage
site protects the largest of Madagascar‟s Tsingy limestone plateau and its wildlife. MNP (ex ANGAP)
built impressive walkways for the park‟s circuit, because of the chaotic razor-sharp pinnacles. There
are cable robes, rocky steps, steel ladders and even a suspension bridge over one of the canyons.
Lunch picnic and, visit of the “Petits Tsingy” in the afternoon drive back to the hotel.

Day 5: Bemaraha to Morondava
Drive back to Morondava, crossing again two rivers with ferry boat. Lunch in village of Belo
Tsiribihina before the second ferry. Stop in the road to visit the unique Baobab Alley and experience
sunset, one of the best memories of this trip. The Baobab trees are specifics to the area and
Madagascar has six species out the eight existing.

Day 6: Morondava – Antsirabe.
After breakfast drive to Antsirabe passing by several interesting places, Tsiribihina river of
Miandrivazo, warm spring of Betafo and the crater lake of Antsirabe.

DAY 7: Antsirabe – Ranomafana
Morning look around of Antsirabe surrounding‟s which due its charm to the dominating and colourful
pousse-pousse (rickshaws), typical houses and villages of the highlanders… Visit of the local
handicraft workshops of Gem stones, zebu corn.... Then get ready to drive to Ambositra which is the
capital town of the Malagasy handicrafts. A short visit of this well known as the town of the
woodcarvers you will see them performing some samples of their talents. Continue afterward. Next
stops are the view point for leg stretching and by the waterfall from the entrance in the primary
forest in Ranomafana.

DAY 8: Visit of Ranomafana national park
Exploration of this Rain forest in where you can see other species of lemurs such as Golden bamboo
lemur and maybe the greater ones…and of course some birds and reptiles. This national park is one
of Madagascar‟s best-known rainforest wildlife hot spots. Ranomafana consists largely of steep,
forested slopes over which there are well-designed trails. Some lead to lookout points from where
views are mesmerizing. Besides all the beautiful lemurs and other wildlife, leeches are also common
in this park.

DAY 9: Ranomafana – Ranohira
Drive southward in heading to Ambalavao. In this town there is an interesting factory making handmade paper which is well worth visiting. It takes ten minutes or so to see the various processes at
work and there is a small gift shop in which you can buy some of the products. Visit of the “ANJA
RESERVE” in which you will see some lemurs such as the Ring-tailed lemurs. Then Keep Driving
towards Ranohira. The scenery begins to change as you travel through the „Gateway to the South‟
mountain and enter the attractive countryside of the Betsileo tribe where granite outcrops dominate
the skyline. Here the village architecture also begins to change, from the double-storey buildings of
the central highlands to the single-storey „African-style‟ house to where the people a more akin to
those in Africa than those from south-east Asia. Upon arrival, installation at your hotel

DAY 10: Ranohira (Visit of Isalo NP)
Drive to the village of Ranohira for picking up your local guide. Transfer to the parking area where
you will start walking towards the famous “Natural swimming pool” through the unique beautiful
landscape of Isalo National Park and endemic plants such as the Aloes, Pachypodium, Kalanchoes,
Tapia trees will be seen. Picnic lunch is at your own charge.
Visit of the Namaza site and its Cascade des Nymphes. A possibility of spotting the Verreaux's Sifaka
Lemurs, the Ring-tailed lemurs as well as many different species of birds. In the end of the day drive
back to your hotel

DAY 11: Ranohira - Toliara - Ifaty
Drive southward to Toliara in passing through different villages of the sapphire miners. Change of
landscape into savannah and bushes. Visit of Zombitse National Park to see more lemurs and birds.
You can enjoy seeing Baobab trees on the way. A little break arriving in Toliara before continuation
to Ifaty which is located at 60km from there

DAY 12: Stay in Ifaty
Day free at leisure (beach, diving, etc...)

DAY 13: Ifaty – Toliara - Antananarivo
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Tana. If time allowed you can visit the capital

DAY 14: Antananarivo - Out
Transfer to the Airport for your flight back home
