Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Welcome to Kenya!

Arriving in Nairobi – Your Safari Adventure Begins!

Your journey begins at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where our team will warmly greet you as you exit customs and immigration. We’ll provide you with an exciting briefing about your upcoming safari adventure, followed by a transfer to your hotel, The Golden Tulip Westlands, for a relaxing overnight stay. Indulge in a delicious dinner as you settle in and prepare for the thrilling wildlife encounters that await you.

Day 2: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Journey to the World-Famous Maasai Mara

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll set off for the Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. The Mara’s vast plains are teeming with wildlife, from herds of wildebeest and zebras to the big cats that prowl the savannah. As you drive through the reserve, keep your eyes peeled for elephants, giraffes, and the famous Mara lions.

Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive en route to your lodge, where you’ll check in and settle in for a relaxing lunch. The afternoon is free for leisure, before embarking on a sundowner game drive, where you’ll witness the African sunset over the plains. Dinner will be served at the lodge, and you’ll spend the night in comfort at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara

Full-Day Game Drive in the Mara

Prepare for an entire day of adventure as you embark on a full-day game drive across the Maasai Mara’s wildlife-rich plains. Keep an eye out for the Mara’s famous animals – from cheetahs and leopards to herds of elephants and giraffes. Along the way, enjoy a packed picnic lunch amidst the wild.

For an authentic cultural experience, visit a local Maasai village (optional, paid directly), where you’ll learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the Maasai people. Your day concludes with a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Scenic Drive to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we depart for Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s most beautiful freshwater lakes. On arrival, check in at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking the lake. Later, explore Lake Naivasha on a boat ride (optional, paid directly), and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you spot hippos, various bird species, and possibly even a few giraffes on Crescent Island (optional excursion, $33 per person).

After your adventure, return to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 5: Return to Nairobi & Departure

Final Journey Back to Nairobi

After a morning breakfast, we’ll begin our drive back to Nairobi. You’ll have the option to enjoy a delicious lunch (at your own cost), before being dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your flight home. We recommend booking a late-night flight for maximum relaxation before departure.
